Like North Street roundabout, design proposals aim to create a public space that offers places to rest, elements of playfulness, a new colour palette for materials, furniture and finishes and a planting program that responds to local found landscapes providing valuable habitats and food sources for wildlife. Proposals also include the green spaces at the entrances to the subways, providing opportunities for new meadows, tree planting and further resting points.
