| Within the Ring Road St. Edwards Churchyard is the only one significant public green space in the centre. Even though it is hardly used due to restricted access and associations of drug use. A new access route and a simple planting scheme inspired by the natural environment found along the river Rom aims to transform the place into a communal green space managed by the active local community. In December 2010 funding for improvement works has been secured. |
