In 2015 what if: projects carried out the feasibility study that formed the basis for the comprehensive refurbishment of sheltered housing scheme Hogarth Court bringing together a number of usually separate investment strands into one project.

As part of the engagement what if: projects ran a garden project which has facilitated the continuous and less formal dialogue with residents throughout the project development.

A central ambition of the project was to open up the entrances and shared internal spaces to the garden while improving security of the sheltered housing scheme overall. New structures and finishes complement the existing building and seek to create an overall calm yet distinctive enviornment that residents can proudly call home. The project is currently on site and scheduled for completion in May 2019.

Works include:
+ Remodeled entrances and canopy roof.
+ Mobility scooter shelter and charging point.
+ Remodeled terrace and garden.
+ New perimeter fence to improve security along Batty and Christian Street.
+ New windows and doors to all openings.
+ Inernal fit out of shared spaces.
