Ruckholt Roadcompletion: 2017 commissioned by: London Borough of Waltham Forest transport engineers: Project Centre budget: £1Mil part of: mini Holland links: Human Streets, The Mayor’s Vision for Cycling, three years on DfT ‘Cycling and Walking Investment Strategy’ Mayor’s Transport Strategy, June 2017 As part of the Mini Holland project that seeks to dramatically improve the cycle infrastructure in Waltham Forest what if: projects prepared the general layout, consultation drawings and and detailed design for the new public spaces and green areas along Ruckholt Road. 49 new trees, 250 new whip trees and meadow areas were planted alonside the route creating landscaped links to the Olympic Park and the Dagenham Brook.
